I still can’t get over her reaction. I brought my fiancee to the most beautiful patch of land just outside Beaverton. I looked at it and told her how much I wanted to build a nice little house on it. I described how beautiful it would be to live there and how amazing it would be. I pointed away for a second and told her to look at something off in the distance. When she turned around I was on one knee, I had a ring held out to her and it had a beautiful sparkling diamond right in the center. I told her I wanted to start the rest of my life with her. She accepted.

Now that event would have been a lot less powerful for me had I not had a ring. She would have wondered if I was for real. She would have asked me where the ring was. A lot could have been wrong I imagine. but I did have a ring. I got it at Tiffany and co. It was perfect. But I almost didn’t have the money for that ring. I’ve had bad credit and I didn’t know how to afford it.
