I still can’t get over her reaction. I brought my fiancee to the most beautiful patch of land just outside Beaverton. I looked at it and told her how much I wanted to build a nice little house on it. Promises are a big deal. You go and make somebody a promise and you keep it. That’s what my policy. It’s what my father told me and it’s what I tell my kids. You sign a contract and that’s your word.
